Cynthia Sachs joined Versana as Founding CEO in November 2021 bringing her broad and deep experience in the syndicated loan market, financial technology space and across various start-up ventures. Sachs spent her early career as a credit trained leveraged finance banker at Bank of America, and later held senior portfolio manager and trader positions at Natixis CIB and within Morgan Stanley’s global proprietary credit trading group. Post-2009, she spearheaded the creation of Bloomberg’s fixed income pricing business BVAL, now the global leader in the bond and loan valuation space. Most recently, she served as CEO and Chief Investment Officer of a boutique specialty finance company founded by Carlyle, Athena Art Finance, that was acquired by Yieldstreet in 2019. Sachs holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
